Guests to Madame Tussauds in Berlin are invited to discover some of the most iconic moments of the capital’s history that have made Berlin what it is today: the city of freedom and tolerance.
OpenEye Global was challenged to create a visual sequence that would welcome visitors to the attraction and provide a glimpse into the experiences that await. The experience unfolds on a vibrant 1mm pitch LED display that curves around the center focal wall as you enter the lobby. Using a variety of visual effects, the figures are bought to life and, at times, from the viewing angle, appear to be breaking the visible plain of the display.
As the story evolves, a series of secondary displays positioned to the left and right of the main display shows additional visual elements to create an almost 180-degree visual. A custom soundtrack was designed to add a layer of energy, and a unique lighting sequence was created to amplify the visuals that welcome guests into the space.
