Reimagining retail is one thing, but when it comes to reimagining airport concessions, it pays to travel as much as we do. Regency Duty Free, New Zealand’s largest duty free retailer, now a part of JR Duty Free, was looking to develop a new look for its stores within the Auckland International Airport and when approached, we understood the challenges in developing a digital signage network that would help to not only increase store sales but enhance the customers shopping experience.
Time-crunched shoppers at Regency Duty-Free stores are now exposed to carefully targeted in-store promotions through a network of 20 strategically placed digital displays. Within each store, displays were installed towards the front and middle to engage and maximize the shopper’s experience.
Our content strategy called for short, eye-catching ads, which were created to quickly capture the consumer’s attention and deliver compelling offers. The content was also translated into several languages and scheduled to target specific nationalities’ based on the day’s arrivals and departures via the built-in CMS, which is able to be controlled remotely, from one location.
